On Wednesday, 3rd June, the students in Ballyglass accompanied by the teachers and a number of parents walked to school. This was part of our Green Schools and Active Schools work, and allowed us to be active and healthy, and also used a different method of transport for coming to school. Because it was during biodiversity week, many of the students wore items of clothing representing biodiversity. The children met at one of the crossroads at either side of the school, and at 9.20, we set off towards the school. It was a lovely morning, and the children enjoyed themselves. Thank you to Mrs. Kelleher for co-ordinating the event, and to everyone who helped and participated on the day. Take a look at the selection of photographs below from the day.
