New visitors in the boys' dressing room!

Mr. O Connor and the students made a lovely discovery this morning. Some swallows have made their nest in an old hurling helmet in the boys' dressing room. There are four tiny eggs in the nest. We are delighted to welcome them to Ballyglass NS and we hope to see four healthy chicks very soon. We kept the dressing room out of bounds today as we did not want to disturb the nest and we realise that this is a very precious time for the birds. We will monitor the nest over the coming weeks and keep everyone updated.
